Revacom brings agent governance to the enterprise: AppDefense division to offer Atria zero-trust gateway across DACH
Strategic distributor partnership makes Atria’s agent governance platform available to organisations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with immediate effect
Potsdam, Germany — 13 October 2026 — Revacom Group today announced a strategic distributor partnership with Atria Systems, Inc., whose zero-trust policy gateway governs what third-party AI agents are permitted to do inside enterprise systems. The agreement extends Revacom’s AppDefense division from detection into enforcement, and gives European enterprises a way to admit AI agents to their APIs under explicit, auditable control rather than blocking them outright.
AI agents are already calling enterprise APIs — through copilots, procurement tools, customer service automation and integrations that no one formally onboarded. Most organisations face a choice between blocking that traffic, which stops work, and allowing it, which leaves no record of what an agent did, on whose authority, or within what limits.
Atria sits between the agent and the API as a reverse proxy. Every external agent receives short-lived zero-trust identity certificates and cryptographic identity tokens, typically valid for minutes. Permitted dynamic action boundaries, parameters and rate limits are defined in policy held as code in version control. Atria targets policy decisions in under 5 ms at the gateway, and every request — allowed or denied — is written to an append-only log recording the agent, the credential, the endpoint, the decision and the reason. No SDK, backend change or API rewrite is required, and credentials are verified cryptographically without shared secrets.
“Our customers are not asking whether AI agents will reach their systems — that already happened,” said Christian Marcus Berner, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of Revacom Group. “They are asking what those agents did last Tuesday, and most cannot answer. Atria turns that question into a log entry. It is the control point AppDefense was built around, and it exists today.”
The agreement fits Revacom’s positioning as a self-healing IT infrastructure group. AppDefense addresses threats that originate from autonomous systems rather than human operators; Atria supplies the enforcement boundary at the API layer, where an agent’s reasoning becomes an actual transaction. Paired with the group’s existing patch and application-lifecycle services through its AppTimized division, it extends a single principle across the estate: know the state of every system, bound what may change it, and keep evidence of both.
The audit trail carries particular weight in Europe. Organisations in scope for NIS2, and financial institutions under DORA, are required to demonstrate control over third-party access to critical systems. Agent traffic has so far been a gap in that evidence.
“As enterprise AI adoption accelerates across Europe, organisations face an urgent requirement to authenticate autonomous agents and enforce explicit permission boundaries before actions reach critical systems,” said Steven Herrmann, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Atria Systems, Inc. “Partnering with Revacom combines our sub-5ms zero-trust policy gateway with deep enterprise application expertise, enabling regulated organisations across DACH to establish auditable agent governance without operational friction.”
Revacom will offer Atria across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with implementation, policy design and ongoing operation delivered by its own engineers from operation centres in six countries.
